LOORG students present at University Annual Research Day

7/7/2015

The Institute of Translational Medicine (ITM) at the University of Liverpool (UoL) held its Annual Research Day on Monday 6th July 2015. The day aimed to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across ITM, one of the largest institutes within UoL.
LOORG PhD students Martina Angi and Sam Prendergast, and LOORG Post Doctoral Researcher Conni McCarthy, successfully won places to present their research in posters during the day. Sarah Lake also promoted the work of the Athena SWAN gender equality team with a poster. In the "Enabling Technologies" session Sarah Coupland discussed the work of the Liverpool Tissue Bank and the new facilities available when the LIBH is launched in October.
