What can you do to support us?
Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group (LOORG) truly appreciates the support of patients and friends of the Group, who ensure that we can keep going with the essential research into all forms of ocular tumours until we receive further support from larger charities. Because ocular tumours are so rare, it can be difficult for us to compete with the more common cancers when applying to external charitable organisations for research grants.

ONLINE:
To do the Gift Aid declaration electronically the easiest way to make the donation is online here:

Please select 'Areas of Greatest Need' in the drop down and then add the name of whom your donation is in memory of for example in the comments field.
BANK TRANSFER:
Alternatively give us a call on 0151 795 2476 or email [email protected] and we can arrange a bank transfer if you wish.
Both of these options ensure 100% of the donation is received by LOORG.
JUST GIVING
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity
To set-up a page please visit the University of Liverpool Just Giving Page https://www.justgiving.com/universityofliverpool and select ‘Fundraise for Us’ which is the orange button in the top right corner. The University of Liverpool is a registered charity, so ultimately all fundraised income needs to come through this page which is why we do not have a separate branded LOORG site. However please be assured you can specify you would like funds directed to LOORG
The next stage of setting up a page asks you to select ‘What are you Doing’ from the following options : ‘Taking Part in an Event’, Celebrating an Occasion’, Remembering Someone’ or ‘Doing your own thing’.
Once you have selected your category it’s then important within your event name and/or fundraising page title you mention specifically that you are fundraising for LOORG, as its this info our central fundraising administration team use to identify where the funds need to be transferred to when Just Giving transfers donations back to the university.
On the next page of the set-up process you can then further personalise your page, you may wish to draw attention to what LOORG is, why supporting etc.
