Research Interests:
My research interests lie in the genetic deregulation occurring during carcinogenesis and its functional significance, in particular the changes that allow tumour initiation and drive metastasis. Using high resolution molecular genetic methods my research aims to better understand uveal and conjunctival melanoma (ocular cancer) pathogenesis and, through this, identify novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of primary and metastatic tumours.
