"Where's Wallace?" ...LIVERPOOL!!

9/12/2011

The LOORG team were delighted to be joined by the real ‘Where’s Wally?’ on Thursday 8th December, Matt Wallace!

Matt is currently walking the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, visiting all 16 Cancer Research Centres by foot, to raise money for CRUK. Matt (aka Where’s Wallace) hopes to walk in excess of 1500 miles, starting in John O’Groats and ending in Land’s End.

Matt popped in with Emma Squibb, Liverpool CRUK’s Local Engagement and Development Manager, and the team were pleased to show him around the department, highlighting the vital clinical work and lab research carried out both in the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre and the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group.

Matt is currently making a short documentary about his visits which he is then uploading onto his Blog: http://www.whereswallace.org/blog/
