Dr Helen Kalirai of the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Group had the opportunity to exhibit two recent oil paintings (titled ‘Low Security Lab’ and ‘The Wearer of Many Hats’) at an exhibition curated at the Bridewell Studios and Gallery, 101 Prescot Street, L7 8UL.
Helen started painting during lock down and is now part of the art classes run by Mr Richard Meaghan.
The oil paintings represent day to day life in scientific research and academic Pathology.
