The Tucson Symposium's, "Innovations in cancer medicine" took place between 23rd - 24th April 2024. Professor Coupland was asked to to give the Thomas Grogan Honorary lecture. Thomas Grogan is an American Pathologist and founder of the Ventana Medical Systems. He pioneered the automation and standardisation of tissue biposy testing.
