Northallerton Lionesses help fight eye cancer

24/8/2012

Congratulations and a BIG thank you to the Northallerton and District Lioness Club, who recently fundraised £400 for the Eye Tumour Research Fund.

Northallerton Lionesses are a group of ladies of all ages who have fun fundraising on behalf of less fortunate members of the community, locally and worldwide.

The group held a coffee morning on Saturday 18th August in Northallerton Town Hall, with tea, coffee, cake, and a large selection of donated items for sale. A local lady who had received treatment at Liverpool kindly provided musical entertainment, offering a mixture of classical and middle of the road music on the keyboard throughout the morning.

Thank you once again from everyone at the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre and LOORG, we are extremely grateful for your support.
