Rob & Tracy Cirin make front page news in Warwick: The Courier
Married couple and Eye Tumour Research Fund supporters, Rob & Tracy Cirin, made front page news earlier this month, following their half marathon success for the Liverpool Ocular Oncology Centre.
Rob and Tracy's amazing determination and unique story is one that touches your heart time and time again.
Aged just 30; Tracy was diagnosed with eye cancer whilst 24 weeks pregnant with twins back in 2010. With the loving support of her husband, family and friends, and the advice of Professor Damato’s team at LOOC, Tracy was able to carry her twin’s full term before undergoing treatment.
Less than one year after her diagnosis, Tracy was remarkably rallying friends together to raise funds for the hospital and was setting half marathon challenges.
In total the couple have raised over £5,500 for the Eye Tumour Research Fund in the last two years, with Tracy and Rob recently going on to complete the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2012!
Is there any stopping them?
Believe it or not, Tracy & Rob have firmly set their sights on the Liverpool Marathon in 2014!
We wish them the very best of luck.
