MRes Projects

Since 2009 LOORG has supported the research training of medical students by offering research projects to individuals studying for a Masters in Research (MRes) in Biomedical Sciences and Translational Medicine, at the University of Liverpool.

Previously, we have offered students the opportunity to investigate the following areas:

1.       The role of BAP1 in uveal melanoma metastasis.

2.       A20 gene deletions in ocular adnexal lymphoma.

3.       The role of a novel inhibitory isoform of VEGF in ocular melanoma.

4.       Validation of the TNM staging system for ocular melanoma and lymphoma.
